SEA-BUCKTHORN OIL
Sea-buckthorn oil produced from the fruits of sea-buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.)., by cold-pressing method - using fresh, non-heat-processed fruits.
The oil contains:
Linolenic acid (Omega-3), linoleic acid (Omega-6), oleic acid (Omega-9). Palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid and stearic acid. Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, K, P. Folic acid.
It has antioxidant activity, as it contains vitamin E and carotenoids.
It has regenerative, anti-inflammatory, multivitamin and antioxidant properties. It has high resistance to oxidation. Lowers blood cholesterol, prevents the formation of atherosclerotic plaques on the walls of blood vessels and reduces the risk of thrombosis. Reduces the acidity of gastric juice, improves the protection of the gastric mucosa, improves fat metabolism in the liver.
Use as an addition to salads, soups, sauces. Use from a few drops to 1 teaspoon a day.
Carotenoid content not less than 140 mg/100 g
