Anise Essential Oil, 100% Natural, Aromatika

Aroma: characteristic pleasant smell of anise fruits; spicy-sweet, cheerful, warm.

Obtained by: anise essential oil is obtained from fruits (seeds) of annual Anise (Anisum vulgare Gaerth/Pimpinella anisum L.) of celeriac family by using hydrodistillation method (steam distillation).

Characteristics: antidepressant, sedative; antiseptic agent; analgetic, spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic; antiarrhythmic, cardiotonic; bronchodilator, expectorant; raises appetite, stimulates secretory-motor function of digestive tract, soft laxative; diuretic action; normalizes menstrual cycle, stimulates lactation, promotes  libido increasing; normalizes  water- fatty balance of skin, increases it’s elasticity.

Recommended for: acute and chronic respiratory diseases (bronchitis, tracheitis, pneumonia, asthma), diseases of kidneys and bladder, intestinal atony, to normalize thewater-lipid balance and skin rejuvenation. Anise oil increases libido. Anise oil also has detrimental effect on bird mites, lices and fleas. 

Aroma of anise essential oil protects against mosquito bites. Oil is an excellent tool for the care of an aging, sluggish, flabby skin.

Origin of plant: Eastern Mediterranean.

is currently growning in Lebanon, Greece, Cyprus. Anise is also cultivated for its aromatic fruits in many countries in Europe, Middle East, America, India, China and Egypt.

Properties of oil: 
anise essential oil is a clear colorless or yellowish liquid with typical pleasant smell of anise fruit and strong sweet taste. Under cooling the oil solidifies in the snow-white crystalline mass with a melting point 15–20С.

Blend with other oils:
with oils of cumin, dill, fennel, coriander, rosewood, mandarin, cedar.

 Ways of using: 
Compress: compress on the upper neck area of anise oil (5 drops), mixed with 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil is effective remedy for a protracted runny nose and sneezing.
For massage: 5 drops of anise oil (or its mixture with other essential oils in equal parts) was mixed with 10 ml of base oil.
In an aroma lamp: 2-5 drops contribute anise essential oil, or its mixture with other oils may be pre-dissolved in 1 or dessert tea spoon of 96% ethanol.

 Caution:

Anise oil is strong, powerful stimulant. After using high doses of it during massage or baths it can cause irritation of the mucous membrane of the stomach and dizziness, and prolonged usage of high doses of this oil can lead to a general poisoning, muscle paresis and circulatory problems, including cerebral. Anise oil should be avoided from using during pregnancy and at an elevated blood clotting.

Storage: essential oils are stored in tightly closed dark glass bottles in indoor temperature in place inaccessible to children. Protect from light.
